K. Kelly, Inc. provides central air conditioning systems for hot and humid Wisconsin.

Cool off with central air
Central Air Conditioning systems deliver cool, humidified and/or electronically cleaned) cool air through the same duct work and used by heated air. A central air system works by running on electricity and removing heat from the air with by way of basic refrigeration cooling techniques.

Heat Pumps can also be used to cool your home. In colder months, a heat pump extracts heat from the outside air and delivers it to the interior of the home. On hot summer days, the system works exactly the opposite, extracting heat from air in the rooms within the home air and pumping it outside. Like central air systems, virtually all heat pumps are electricity powered. They utilize an outdoor compressor/condenser unit that is linked by refrigerant-filled tubing direct to a air handler located indoors. As refrigerant moves throughout the system, it completes a basic cooling cycle, warming or cooling the coils within the air handler. The blower pulls in air from a room, circulates this air across the coils, and pushes it back into rooms within the home through the duct work. When additional heat is required on colder days, supplemental electrical-resistant components activate inside the air handler to add additional heat to the air passing through it.

Inside a central air system by Rheem
K. Kelly Inc. features the Rheem Classic Plus Series Two-Stage Central Air Condition with solid technology and energy-saving performance.

1. The reliable Two-Stage Copeland Scroll™ UltraTech™ compressor makes the Classic Plus Series as efficient as it is durable. A Single-Stage unit runs at one speed, but the Two-Stage RA17 modulates between two speeds – high and medium. It will operate on medium speed most of the time, providing more precise temperatures and lower humidity while also reducing energy use. The system only operates on high when necessary during peak, warm weather conditions. The compressor also has 70% fewer moving parts – which means you get a unit that’s more efficient and more reliable.

2. The optimized fan contributes to quieter operation, optimal airflow and better overall performance. Simply put, you get efficient comfort that lasts a very long time.

3. A quieter and more durable unit starts with our smart new composite base pan. The design helps eliminate corrosion and adds to quieter performance. Extensive UV testing was done to ensure that the base pan stays looking new for years to come. Our improved refrigerant tubing design also contributes to a quieter, more reliable operation.

4. and 5. For added strength, curved louver panels and rugged corner posts on the exterior do an excellent job protecting the inside
